About Colby-Sawyer College

Colby - Sawyer College is a small, liberal arts college in New London, which is a town in the US state of New Hampshire, in Merrimack County, with a population of more than 4000 inhabitants, as estimated during the 2009 census.

Colby - Sawyer was established in 1837, when a legislative charter was granted to eleven New London citizens to establish a school in the town. It currently offers its students `inspiring library and state-of-the-art science labs, and small classes with friendly faculty whose focus is undergraduate education.`

Athletics

Colby - Sawyer's athletic teams are nicknamed the Chargers and they compete in NCAA Division III, in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC), the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) and the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA), for 7 varsity men's sports and 8 sports for women.
